SpaceX to Launch Falcon 1
And at a price that's nice
by Carol Pinchefsky
On 25 November 2005, SpaceX will be launching their rocket, Falcon 1, from an atoll in the Marshall Islands. The payload is a satellite which measures "plasma space phenomena."
Although it's not a passenger-carrying ship, it is a commercially, semi-reusable vehicle. Most importantly, Falcon 1 will provide the lowest cost per flight to orbit of any launch vehicle in the world.
For more information on the launch and the vehicle, see the SpaceX website.
