The Ansari X Prize
has announced that the Canadian da Vinci Project is to launch into space on October 2. In its bid for the Ansari X Prize, da Vinci Project leader Brian Feeney will pilot the balloon-launched Wild Fire rocket to 110 kilometers. The flight will take place at Kindersley, Saskatchewan.
