Abstract:From the dawn of civilization, human beings have been interested in the Universe, and have thought about how to reach the moon and stars. During the Industrial Revolution of the 18th century the development of technology opened opportunities for travel by trains and ships powered by steam. We are now entering the next Millennium with a sense of wonder and amazement. I would like to describe the relationship between technology and tourism throughout history, and my ideas for applications to Space Tourism.
