Japan's H2 Blown Up After Launch
Japan's space authorities Monday exploded a $229 mil launcher and satellite
by remote control when the rocket veered off course soon after liftoff.
Reports are sketchy at this time as to what went wrong with today's H2
launch by Japan. NASDA official told SpaceDaily the solids burned okay,
with the main cyrogenic engine on the first stage giving out about 10
minuts after an on-time launch at 4.29pm JST.
