OK. This means that the very first thing you need,
before you need hotels, casinos, brothels or MikkiD's,
is a way for people to get to your spaceport (other
than those who drop from orbit, natch). If it were an
add-on to an existing airport, then people would get
there via car, bus, and of course fly in. But this is
built from scratch, so that is out. Also, as it is
not near the coast, ferry boats are out.

So you need to build roads, high-speed rail (or
maglev), or airport facilities that let people arrive
via plane and leave via spaceship (and vice versa).
You may well want to build two or even all three of
these. You've probably thought of this already, but I
thought I'd mention the obvious first, just to get it
out of the way.

Now, throw in restaurants, hotels, offices, and any
casinos or whatnot, and what you are building is a
small city, and there will need to be some way to get
from place to place in this city. I think that I have
found the solution to both the "how to get there"
problem and the "how to get around once you're there"
problem. In fact, I like this guy's stuff so much
that I am thinking of contacting the IOC about it.
New York should consider it if they really want the
2012 Games. Guy should give me a free ride pass. ;)
