That is interesting, Frank; I too am interested in LEO manufacturing.  Do you have any experiments you would
like done on the vomit comet?  I can arrange (at minimal or no cost) to fly an experiment through the
California Space Institute with which I am remotely affiliated via its sponsorship of NEAP.I want to do a fiber
draw, but I think the set up would be too costly.  I bet fantastic optic fiber could be made.
Perhaps a simple chemical crystalization experiment would be of preliminary interest?
