I'm a geologist by occupation, NSS member and a
long-time spaceflight enthusiast.  Ever since I watched
John Glenn's Mercury-Atlas lift off on a tiny b&w tv in
my grade school's auditorium, I've wanted to go "out there".
So anything that promotes the attainment of cheap
human access to space is of interest to me.  I see the
development of profitable space industries as an important
incentive for aggressive R&D efforts in the space
transportation arena.
